TUE APRIL 02 2024-theGBJournal|Dangote Petroleum Refinery has begun sale of Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel) to independent petroleum marketers across the country, a historic first for the refiner.
The refiner set a minimum one million litres as purchasable cargo of diesel for each marketer.
The President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi confirmed the purchable limit for its members.
Analysts say this development will significantly impact the Nigeria’s energy sector and reduce the annual $17 billion petroleum import bill.
